Tight punk/art-rock often describable as "BleaAAAARghhh!" Another gem from that our favorite wacky Croatian label. Intense, fast, punky. Guitar/bass/drums, sure, but also some sax! Lots of aggression, precision, and craziness, and nonsense vocals. (It's not all Croatian. You can tell.) (NOT related to "Trio 3," the U.S. jazz supergroup.) Tracks are really short (many < 1 minute, indicated by a *) with lots of punky guitar/drums attacking and lots of artsy twists. Compares a *little* bit to Naked City but isn't as schizo or as punishing. 1- Spastic music, screaming vocal. "OK!" 2- Tuneful punk/jazz/art-rock 3- Sinister rumble, cool echoey vocal 4- Stumbling weirdness! 5- Mid/fast spazzy, with sax 6*- Deep thumping/chugging, robotic vocal. 7- Tumbling punk confusion. 8- Tumbling criss-cross melody. Squeaky sax. 9- Babbling, Naked-City-like. 10*- Rapid-fire bass, drums, bubbling punk vocal 11- Crazed blather! 12*- Quick precision blasts. 13*- Sparse bleats. 18 seconds. 14*- Chugging guitar 15- Breathless, fast, desperate vocal. Fast. 16- Punky two-step. Bursts apart. 17*- Tense drama. Spare ,w/busy drum 18*- Lumbering 5/4. 19- Some cool backwards effects 20*- Trumpet! Variety of fast beats. 21- Low riff, spoken vocals. 22- Insane speech over restrained bass riffs 23*- Rumbling intensity 24- Jagged attack. (Instrumental.) 25- Fast. Rockabilly attitude. 26- Restrained scribbles. 27- Tangly, fast jamming. A good 4-minute slab 28- Gutteral march. 29- Deep start, into driven head-nodding rock 30- Hard, intense, fast. 31- Aggressive. Beat-driven; later, a blur 32*- Fast yet low-key 33*- Loping rhythm, wild trumpet. 34- Hard chugging. Ends abruptly. 35- Hard-driven beat. 36- Superfast intense hardcore, then artsy angular stuff 37*- Bursty, chaotic | ||
