Album Review
Reviewed 2009-05-15
German big band, fun and unpredictable. Traditional sounds, rock/fusion influence, dance music(?!), some Euro avant-garde. It's a regularly performing band with a rotating cast of characters (which might be why there were no credits available -?) Bandleader and composer is Jan Klare.

1- Gentle and swaying, a proud, upbeat big-band piece
2- Evil fast buzzing! A touch of punk/metal intensity that does include electric guitar (and a solo). Middle gets into a quiet, fusiony and smooth (?!) pulsing.
3- Calm shimmering drone. Eventually an exotic, Eastern-tinged theme. Loooong start and ending.
4- Kind of a disco beat, with pieces of fusion, funk, and '70s horns. A cool-breeze sound overall, catchy and danceable
5- Sparse, toneful bursts. Some improv later. It's a concept piece, lots of white space.
6- Fast, funky, gloopy and a bit exotic. Quiet, slow middle.
7- Fusion, quick-paced and flashy.
