Singer-songwriter pop: a girl, her ukelele & witty lyrics rife with sex. Gets repetitive, but there are a few pop gems. (FCC 1, 3, 6, 7).
1) *FCC Light-hearted sound, lyrics of fucked up emotional issues around sex.
2) Nice horns, otherwise blah.
3) FCC lustful girlie lyrics.
4) Just her voice – late night frustration.
5) ** Lite country – pretty slide guitar. More produced.
6) FCC ukelele, xylophone, drums, layered vocals
7) FCC More of same, like 3 & 6.
8) * Breathy vocals, soft drums. About a faraway love.
9) * Accordian & horn! More structure to song.
10) Fast-paced ditty, jazzy vocals.
11) A little too sappy for my tastes…
12) * Nice echo-y guitar & tender lyrics.
13) Slow, jazzy horn & guitar.
14) Chorus has nice instrumentation
15) * Many singers on chorus: “Sometimes I sleep with evil because evil turns me on”
16) Sweet tune
