Operatic pop with zany lyrics and some electronic elements thrown into the mix. These guys have been making great albums for 37 years and are definitely top contenders for most underrated band in history. This album isn’t their best, but it’s still fun to listen to and definitely worth checking out. Lots of falsetto over very theatrical & dramatic arrangements and repeating choruses with ridiculous lyrics… (e.g. “let the monkey drive”). Kind of sounds like Danny Elfman on crack. FCC CLEAN

1) Short intro track with some nice harmonizations
2) Falsetto and piano on top of revved-up electo-pop beat
3) Half spoken lyrics over demented chants, heavy guitars jump in at about 1:30 mark
*4) Repeating Lyrics… “I can’t believe that you would fall for all the crap in this song” Trudging electro-beat with some added electronic noises & piano
*5) Theatrical / operatic, with dramatic piano and repeating chorus “let the monkey drive”
6) “Intro Reprise”: Short interlude with some nice harmonizations
*7) repeating chorus….“I’ve never been high”, building orchestral sound
8) Very dramatic piano over building electro-beat with repeating lyrics of “She Got me Pregnant”, Reminds me of pre-oingo boingo Danny Elfman
9) More of a standard-sounding rock tune with repeating lyrics “Lighten up Morrisey”
10) Dramatic synths over tympanis
11) More operatic eletro-pop, “The director never yelled cut” repeats
12) A little more stripped down…just piano with some strings, and vocal harmonizations
13) “Likeable” staccato piano with some strings and operatic sound
