Heavy, often epic contemporary metal/heavy rawk. Mixing a bunch of stuff from the 90’s to now. Similar to everything from High On Fire to Pelican to Nachmystium & Helmet. Might be a good idea if they cut all the overdone “post-rock” stuff out of each song and stay with just the heavy stuff. Otherwise a pretty good album.

(((1))) Circular riffing, nice bass & drum sound but falls flat during the “soaring” bits.
(((((2)))). Riffage & raw throat rockin’ + some modern Black Metal-ish fury, too.
((((3)))) Pretty fierce drumming & more BM type riffs mixed with near crust punk vocals.
(((4))) Strummy intro leads to fast tempo & tremolo riffs & Matt Pike-like vocals. Not bad but a mostly meh.
((5)) Boring-ass “post-rock” guitar interlude.
(((6))) More of the same except it forms an OK heavy rawk/metal tune that meanders for-ever.
(((7))) Bassy, circular, Pelican meets Today Is The Day with very mixed results.
((((8)))) There ya go! Slow intro then attacks with a full-on Nachmystium-like BM blaze then riffs outward.
(((9))) Slow but steady, in that weird confemporary not totally metal or hardcore yet also not metalcore either thing.
(10) Pointless guitar noodling.
