Killer heavy sounds from Seattle. Mixing the dirty tone of early Swedish Death Metal (Entombed, Dismember especially), d-beat/crusty hardcore (like Skitsystem & Wolfbrigade) and American “proper” metalcore like Converge (who’s Kurt Ballou produced this) with a bit of doom as well. Really innovative stuff. Has 2 guys from Backstabbers Inc. In all a very solid effort.
((((1))))) (FCC “fucking” sung once) Slow, bassy, distant vocals & percussion – eventually gets louder & heavier.
((((((2)))))) Ripping d-beatin’ hardcore with a ton of bass a wild drum accents. Sounds like 2 vocalists but could be just 1. Wow!
((((((3)))))) (FCC “fucking” sung once) Stripped down, dense hardcore with a strong Swedish death metal guitar/bass tone.
(((((4)))))) Death & grind mixed with super-heavy hardcore. Pretty much says it all.
(((((5))))) Fast but catchy and anthemic like recent Disfear or Wolfbrigade.
(((((6))))) (FCC “fucking” & “motherfucker” sung 1x each) Straight forward, heavy as hell, rockin’ & again, very catchy.
(((((7))))) Cycles back to the slow sludge of the opener. Effective & ass-kicking at any speed, really.
(((((8))))) You fast & d-beatin’ /death metal-y again? OK, how’s this? Really fuggin’ good mix of those 3 styles and some doom ridin’ riffs.
(((((9))))) Torrents of drums and slicing riffs. Screamed out vocals. Totally charging and never gonna stop.
(((((10)))))) Modern, feebackin’ , sludge-y, super heavy rawk. Not far from 16 or Today Is The Day. Pretty awesome.
