Latin-tinged folk and Americana. Most of the songs are sung in English, but three are (partially) sung in Spanish. Influences seem to be Bob, Neil, and the usual Americana suspects. His voice is a bit grating sometimes, though, kind of like Chris Cornell meets Bob Dylan. Most of this is nicely arranged and pulled off, though. Nothing life changing here, but pleasant enough stuff. No FCCs noted. Check out track by track to find what suits your fancy but I really liked 6.

1. Warm, upbeat folk, female backing vocals come in, no percussion, kind of country. (3:31)
*2. Slow-tempo country folk ballad with simple drum beat, bar room piano, big electric guitars and choral vocals. (6:35)
3. Mellow piece. Electric guitars are a nice touch… a little bit dreamy. Good track. (4:08)
4. Flamenco rock fusion piece here. I suppose I should name drop Santana. All you world music people would probably like this one. It is upbeat, catchy, and lush. (4:03)
5. Slow, dark acoustic strumming with electric guitar and building feedback. Neil Young? An ominous ballad with a cool guitar solo. (5:20)
**6. Cool syncopation of interweaving banjo, guitars, bass lines. Dynamic track with reverbed-out backing vocal interludes. Really creative and pulled off nicely. (6:35)
*7. Strained Spanish vocals with lots of percussion and backing vocals. Chord progression and melody are bittersweet. (5:57)
8. Back to the simplistic folk; drums and other instrumentation comes crashing in about half way through. (5:56)
9. Folk-rock. Distorted guitars, rock drums, more piano, etc. Sounds like 2, but 2 I probably a bit better. (4:17)
10. More folky, big percussion, accordion, and banjo comes in. Long one with repetitive outro that has backing male vocals. (9:47)
