Live recordings from a coffeehouse, clean though unproduced. Mostly musical- even though “poetry” is in the title, only half are few poem-only readings. Promoting the Bowery Poetry Club’s series of soundboard recordings.

1. m spoken. self-complementing love poem
2.howling intro, coffeehouse acoustic guitar gospel/dirty blues
+3.glockenspiel & standup bass & fem harmonized vocals, plus guitar later. Gentle pop
4.FCC asshole, fuck. Childish humor.
+5.Alt-country/folk, uptempo, slows down & saddens at end
6.M spoken word & standup bass, beat-lite, NYC is dirty.
7.FCC: fucking. mid-slow hip-hop style beat, poem shouted
+8.FCC “shot the shit” @ 1:45 in/-4:15, “I know you’re fucking” @2:52/-2:25, “so she could fuck” @4:45/-:32. Spoken only. Druggie edge-of-society love story
9.3/4 time low acoustic guitar, full of emo- imaging Flight of Conchords sad song minus humor. Hard to hear over café chatter.
10.Depressed folk with a little lonesome whistling
+11.mid-tempo, 3/4 time baby-boomer rock w/elec guit, organ, drums- baritone sax near end
