Album Review
Your Imaginary Friend
Reviewed 2009-05-08
CD starts with a very innovative pop/indie pop feel with female vocs juxtaposed with male vocs and smacks of Pixies but as it progresses you realize that it somehow plunders the perfection reached in the 80’s by the Human League, Tears for Fears, Echo and the Bunnymen, that whole thing. Don’t misunderstand: this sounds nothing like those bands, but flavors do, making it all pretty tasty. If Live105 had a a semblence of a clue they would be playing this. Hell, maybe they already do (I avoid radio with commercials). Enjoy!

1) chill deceiving intro to a mid paced sexy hip swaying rock with mellow sexy vocal delivery and theme
2) female vocs, a more simple safe pop feel
3) really good simple pop, a nice beat, fuzzy guitar and female vocs at the perfect moment, kinda like getting a glimpse of a braless breast on a summer day
4) female led perfect pop, not bouncy or nauseating, with some pretty 80’s styled synth
5) okay this sorta nauseates, but it works for what it does, 80’s flavor
6) kind of ass kissing commercial radio hit shit
7) Pixies bass melody feel, good song
8) pop, with mix of acoustic etc
9) upbeat and playful
