Foma - Inverness
Poppy mellow music with use of stringed instruments. Very sweet and clean sounding but doesn't take enough risks to be interesting. No FCC's detected. Reviewed by Truc Nguyen
1. 2:25 Poppy song with stringed instruments. Music abruptly at 2:17 followed by some rustling.
2. 2:33 Instrumental melodic number that's somewhat chaotic. Sounds like a sci-fi soundtrack at 1:27. Vocals start at 1:56.
3.* 3:18 Starts to take form, sounds more traditionally indie pop with tambourine and mellow guitars. Female vocal accompaniment.
4. 1:33 Super repetitive synthy chord progression with a shaking until a minute in when guitars dominate. Abrupt ending.
5.*** 3:06 Stringed instruments etch out a somberish melody with drums keeping beat. Very polished sound.
6.** 5:18 Starts with muttering until 0:26 when when viola(?) solo starts. Drums kick in at 1:18 with eerie futuristic sounding background music.
7. 2:54 Prominent, repetative guitar riff with a shaker of some kind. Completely instrumental filler-ish track.
8. 3:04 Ukelele and soft vocals. Super mellow.
