German dark ambient and strange psych rock with a serious lo-fi vibe. Lots of keyboards, strummy guitars and really rudimentary drumming. Not far from the ambient side of Burzum (Varg’s occasional lapses into “newage”), early Mortiis, an evil version of Amon Düül II or even Neil Young's "Dead Man" soundtrack mixed with French ambient weirdos like Moëvöt. Strange but very fascinating stuff.
Just break down the artist name into:
“Vargh’ kog’ harga’ smal” it’s not as bad as: Paracoccidioidomicosisproctitissarcomucosis.
((((1)))) Lots of rain, lo-fi, brooding keyboards, twinkling keys done in a basement in the Black Forest kinda silly but amusing.
(((2))) Weird keyboard (near flute sound) with clean guitar strumming at a mid-paced Black Metal tempo (but it’s too “cute” to be BM).
((((((3)))))) Killer, twangy, odd psych with loose but good drumming and nice bass sound.
((((4)))) Slow, kinda psych & noodling, hazy, weezing, grumbling vocals. Weird and yes, windy.
((((5))) Basic strums, nice & basic keyboards.
Oddly close to Neil Young on the Dead Man soundtrack or Amon Düül II
(((((6))))) Rumbly psych-mod rock guitars, sputtering drums, “ahh—oo-OOO” & Finnish vocals. Mostly it’s krautrock for zee modern age.
((((7)))) Bassy, tiny but present keyboard sound. Lots of minor chords and dark ambient by way of death rock type of chord patterns (think early Cure or Christian Death).
((((8)))) Floating ambience and a “discount dark ambient”. Pretty neat sound.
