LOCAL 7th album of meticulously produced indie pop from John Vanderslice. After a synth/ keyboard-heavy first half, the album's 2nd half is much more organic in sound. Good stuff, though doesn't quite stand up to Cellar Door or Pixel Revolt for me.

med-slow. many different keyboards, drums, bass.
FCC ("fucked up" at 1:02 left) med-fast. multitracked vocals over wurlitzer and steady drums.
med-slow. my favorite of the record. great chorus.
mid tempo. multi-tracked vocals. bending synths.

med-fast. more of a straight up rocker than many on the disc.
mid tempo. strummed guitar and vocals. pretty sparse and delicate.
med-fast. dark piano and drums.
med-slow. dark, echoing bass. multi-tracked vocals. stark drums
slow. gorgeous, almost atmospheric music, strings.
