Classical baroque solo piano that gets jazzy as the performer improvises on the original. Nearly all tracks have “classic” and “jazz” sections though sometimes they sound all “classic” to me. Track listing on back shows composers=your clue as to which have improve sections. Good playing, clean reacording. All tracks good.

2.3/4 time, dramatic soundtrack for a blustery day

6.mid-fast. Strange tonalities in 2nd half.
7.3/4 time lilting springtime. Improv goes darker, faster, then fades away.

10.Begins with twisted baroque improv, mid tempo, introspective. Then original kicks in, faster, showier
11.Fast, stormy, fun with runs near end, entirely improv (based on the following track)
12.Fast, tripping across the keys. Entirely classic and a good contrast w/11
13.Fast, insistent, entirely classic.
14.Quiet and mild, contemplative. Improv 2nd half blends well, goes out there while staying in same headspace.
