Killer Bay Area (SF) progressive & often epic Death/Thrash Metal with hints of traditional soloing and really nice melodic parts. Leila’s got a nice Chuck Schulidner-ish rasp to her voice. She along with the other guitarist, Ben Aguilar play a mean bunch of riffs. The drummer, Blood Eagle played in the cult SF Black Metal bands, Weakling & Sangre Amado. Sounds like a mix of later-era Death, Enslaved, Ludicra and a little Agalloch. Great stuff from the first song to the last. Amazing live band, too

(((((1))))) Nice acoustic intro, with steady modern riffing and growling (but totally audible) vocals. Good use of rhythm. Similar ot “Individual Thought Patterns”-era Death.
(((((((2))))))) Drums & slow, winding chords, then rather heavy @ 1:35. Love the balance between the riffs & vocals. Melodic vocals the circle back & forth. Picks up the tempo at 4:41.
((((((3))))) Very nice & big dark strumming sound (‘ala Enslaved), dual melodic vocals, awesome growling with the classic elongated letters.
“A-nnngerrrr!” Killer solos.
(((((4))))) Mellow & somber folk, sounds like Amber Aslyum (go figure since Leila & guest Kris Force play in ‘em) violin & cello.
(((((((5)))))))) Yes! HEAVY ASS RIFF in yr face! A great balance between the heaviness and rockin’ with the melody & catchiness. Super riffy. Rad “South of Heaven” bit in the middle, too.
((((((6)))))) Voice centered intro, very pretty & melodic with big, spacious riffs underneath. Moves into a crazed Black/Death metal thing with a bunch of layers then back to acoustic.
((((((7))))))) Sparse, acoustic intro then chunky riffs hammering out a totally ‘bangin’ tune. Firece vocals that just kill with a mere word! Chuck Schulidner looks down from Metal Valhalla & approves.
