Highly energetic lo-fi pop with a definite surf rock influence. Sparse vocals and very technical musicianship. These guys love math rock and are not afraid to experiment. In a similar vein to a bunch of other really good east coast bands such as Ponytail or Lightning Bolt. Check out the weird cartoon in place of liner notes. Tracks are all similar and all quite good. Highly recommended! For fans of Ponytail, Fang Island, Don Cab, Lightning Bolt.

Picks: 2, 5, 8 *** No FCCs ***

1. nice steady buildup to metal-like dual guitar harmonization... pretty energetic opener
**2. hell yeah! nice distortion on bass, lots of start stops... sing along chorus, very nice
3. starts slow and mellow, then builds up and has a lot of math rock-style start-stops. nice chorus melody, segues into track 4
4. strange vocalizations, crescendos, pretty fucking epic
**5. mellow start, ethereal vocals, picks up in energy
6. pretty funky slap bass drives this one, nice
7. short 1 minute intro into next song...
**8. pretty damn good drumming, soaring guitars, shouts of usra (universities space research association)... kind of a space rock elevation feel here, yup this cd is worth listening to...
