Hess is More/ Hits
Electronic, Danish, Experimental. electronic beats and spoken/singing layered over that. Hess is More is founded and directed by Danish musician Mikkel Hess who throughout the year has made music for films, theater and multimedia, including cooperations with the Royal Theatre, National Danish TV, The Danish Film School, and a long list of Danish and international production companies. Personally, not my cup o’ tea, but maybe you’ll like it?
Similar to: Mikael Simpson, Daid Lowe’s Dreamcatcher, Kenneth Bager, Turboweekend, Spleen United

Try: 3, 5, 8, 10
1. nice, repetitive piano melody over mumurings and electronic synths 2. electronic synth melody, male/female mumurs and singing, kind of creepy… 3. ** upbeat synth, with “ooh’s” and catchy tune, almost like a TV hit over bassy electronic sounds, fades and comes back up again 4. cool electronic guitar strums, dancey bass beat, murmurs over beat ... creepy but bearable? 5. ** whistling in opening, walking jazzy bassline, twinkling xylophone, cute saxophone, like elevator music, but charming? 6. spacey sounds, “la-la’s” female vox, dancey beat and male “don’t tell’s” 7. world sound, darker beat, techno vibes murmurings, some gravelly, creepy background voices later on 8. ***whistling, electronic, yet kind of relaxed soundscape. 9. orgasmic noises? umm… strangely jazzy vocals? “it’s hot outside?” he’s locked in the fridge? ends with music box 10. *down tempo, “ I never had sex with a prostitute” “la la la” happy tune with saxophone
