Really good mix of modern metal-ish with streamlined 90’s heavy rock without the MTVish baggage. Very consistent, driving and memorable tunes. Lots of pieces of everything from Big Business to Kyuss to Quicksand to Chokebore along with 2nd wave (real) emo bands such as Shotmaker. A really good debut. |
((((1))))) Big riff with fast metallic tone and shouted vocals. Rocks like a mofo.
((((((2)))))) Melodic, very uptempo, extremely catchy, clean and shouted vocals. Nice low end sound, too.
((((3)))) Laid back, spacious early 90’s heavy indie rawk (think Chokebore, Rodan, etc.) with the mellow and big heavy bits. Very strong riffing around 2:30.
((((4)))) Uppity, Midwestern-styled strummy with screamy vocals and more rockin’ riffs & some cool drum fills.
((((5)))) Fast & oddly tuned mix of 90’s hardcore, fast modern metal riffs, melodic & screamy vocals. Plus some poppy breakdowns.
((((6)))) Spirialing/soaring guitars into pretty good 90’s styled, big indie rawk again moving between the mellow and loud tones. Really good vocals, too.
((((7)))) Big, burly guitars and a lot of changes in tones/moods yet still very memorable.
((((8)))) Repetitive lyrics but continually moving, very nice melodic vocals, and thick guitar tone.
(((((9))))) Wow! Verrry rockin’ and consistently riffin’ guitars with slightly distant but sort poppy vocals.
((((10)))) Big drums and riffs that occasionally pulls back for more melodic parts. Although it rarely if ever compromises its power. Awesome guitar sound in the 2nd ½ especially that solo.
(((((11))))) Stoner-rawk vibe with big vocals ‘ala Big Business crossed with the spirit of Chokebore & Kyuss.
((((12)))) Big, spacious rocker again continually moving forward with nice drum work. Ends with feedback.
(((13))) Mellow, “NeurIsis” style tune which ain’t bad but a little too undercooked at this point.
