Classic Thrash and Heavy Metal from Dave Mustaine & co. Mostly consistent and catchy tunes (compared to all the half-assed, uninspired crap they did in the last decade or so). The addition of Chris Broedrick on additional lead guitar is a real plus to their sound. Granted a few of the solos go on to long but most of the songs are strong enough to overlook these faults.

((((1)))) Heavy opening riff and a ton of dual guitar harmonies and solos. Very 80’s Metal the real way.
((((2)))) Strong riffing, fast and sort thrashy with Mustaine’s classic sneering vocals.
((((3)))) Bombast and 1-2 tempo with pretty good build up and catchy albeit rather commercial chorus.
(((((4))))) AWESOME guitar tone mixing the modern with demo-era Metallica. A real catchy rockin’ tune.
(((5))) Pretty good build up and playing but slightly clumsy chorus.
(((6))) Mostly good heavy rawk/metal tune that echoes their earlier hit “Symphony of Destruction”. Tight riffs and decent drum fills.
(((7))) Sci-fi dystopian intro. Sonically not too bad but Dave prattling on about the New World Order is pure WTF? Anyone wanna hear Megadeth influenced by the Alex Jones Show?
(8) Yeesh. Megadeth does an acoustic ballad. Dave Mustaine’s sneering voice was never made for this.
(((((9))))) Wild guitar playing, fast & aggressive thrash that would’ve fit neatly on “So, Far, So Good…” Lots of crunch tone riffs.
((((10)))) Mid-paced, consistent riffing that bridges the new and old (like the first 4 Megadeth albums, NWOBHM and early Metallica) and good variation in the vocals & catchy structure/chorus.
(((11))) Bassy intro, lots of big riffs albeit too teetering on 80’s slickness. More thrash less, radio friendly stuff, please. Not bad for what it is, though.
