Simple fun dirty garagey rock/pop. Low fi element, reminds me of Tucson party bands in the late 80’s. One part Violent Femmes, one part Jonathon Richman, one part early Stones, another part Muffs. This would be a really fun band to see live. Especially at a living room party. This stuff is just about as perfect as it gets for what it is. 1) garagey surfy beat with boy/girl vocs in chorus, perfect party pop-rock 2) violent femmes quirky acoustic rock feel 3) upbeat bouncy, “I ruined my life” contrasting lyrics 4) upbeat with just percussion and vocals, fun as hell 5) 60’s garage rock for sure, go-go boots required 6) upbeat Stonesy rock, Modern Lovers 7) slow sultry sexy, boy girl trouble lyrics 8) upbeat swingy garage rock, echoey vocals 9) blues swing, upbeat 10) grungey rockin 11) tom tom surfy beat, dirty noisey guitars, simple rockin 12) simple swingy pop with soaring melodies a la 70’s television theme music, then midway falls into chaotic noise guitar, comes back 13) quick FCC (“I fuck like a savage”) 14) swingy bluesy “how many more times” styled bassline and big guitar chords, epic vocals and feel | ||
