A compilation of Welsh folk music. Wonderful performances with lots of nostalgia, love of country, and tradition. Both instrumental and vocal tracks (all vocals in Welsh (track #8 has some spoken word in English as well). Great notes too. Really solid, interesting stuff.
*1. Delicate female vocals, downtempo & gently sad.
*2. Rich, elegant pipes and & fiddle. Midtempo, like a medieval dance.
3. Slow and sad male vocals & solo harp. Heartbreaking.
4. Slow concertina/flute/guitar instrumental. Emotional and tragic.
*5. A capella female vocal. Slow and moving. So beautiful.
6. Flute/fiddle duet. Midtempo and stately w/a regal air.
*7. A capella male vocal, rough and atmospheric. Slow, dramatic.
*8. Spoken word, solo fiddle slow/mid w/a rich melody.
9. Harp & trumpet. Slow w/delicate touch & rich with tragedy.
10. Voice, fiddle & guitar. Down/midtempo and sweet.
