Spill fans who have been waiting for another Keep It Like A Secret or Perfect From Now On will be, well, less disappointed with There Is No Enemy than with the band's other recent efforts. Generally wet and swampy like You In Reverse.

01. *** Brief, chugging rocker. Typical Spill album opener.
02. **** Mid-tempo, shimmery, circular Martsch-y melody.
03. ** Slower, reflective. More lyrical & vox-centric than most.
04. ** Up-tempo 4-on-the-floor rocker.
05. **** Slower, dreamy. Very PFNO-era Spill.
06. ** Slow droner. Builds and breaks a few mins in.
07. ** Supafast rocker. FCC (fuck)
08. *** Mid-tempo, poppy melody.
09. ** Up-tempo Neil Young noodler. FCC (shit)
10. *** Slow, more vox than guitar song.
11. ** Starts slow, dreamy. Picks up to a typical Spill rocker.

Ryan's ratings:
* forgettable
** decent but filler
*** good tune
**** standout track
***** must-hear
