Album Review
Alma Mahler

Electro-pop that’s spacey, upbeat. Layers of electronic blips & synths provide interesting complexity to the basic pop melodies. For fans of Apples in Stereo, Of Montreal, MGMT. No FCCS. Try 8, 1, 13, 4

1) * Horns drive melody over heavy drums, electronic pulses 2) Guitar & synth & m/f group vox 3) About a porn writer; I esp. like the last 45secs about riding bicycles 4) * 80s synth & breathy male vocals 5) Power pop, pretty catchy 6) Short robot TRANSITION track 7) Uneventful track about floating in space 8) * Funky midi rhythm electro pop 9) Short orchestral electro piece, no vox 10) No wave-y fem vox, synths, driving rhythm 11) Noisy pop, male shouting vox 12) Short announcement of “end of the record” 13) * A little psych pop outro that’s pleasant.
