Jangly, Danceable, Indie Pop. Homage to sugary 1970s radio groupd like ABBA, the Carpenters, ELO. These are hooky, dramatically multi-layered tunes with overblown sentiment and massive, produced choruses. Elements of this album are sad and dark, while remaining funky and impulsive Scandinavian pop. Extravagant syrupy pop for an arena, and super catchy.
