CLASSIC HEAVY/DOOM METAL OF RIGHT NOW! Lots of colossal riffing, soaring & clear vocals and resonating epic tones from this Indianapolis trio. This is the kinda band who’s visage should appear on the back of many a headbangers denim (especially if they’re German or Greek). Taking elements of the classics such as: Cirith Ungol, Omen, St. Vitus, Manilla Road, Cathedral and even a bit of Dio-era Black Sabbath. All tied in with the classic lyrical influence of H.P. Lovecraft & R.E. Howard. If someone asks “what’s Heavy Metal like?” This! NOW TURN IT UP!
((((((1))))))) Fast & catchy with “Symptom of the Universe” variant riff and even handclaps (!) Rad.
(((((((2))))))) Starts with the riff in the distance then explodes with a real heavy low-end. Mixes classic US HM & NWOBHM like Saxon.
((((((3))))))) Flanger & drum intro, then a slow & HUGE sounding war charge of DOOM up the 7 hills of Rome.
(((((4))))) Classic Heavy Doomy Metal. Slight tempo change @ 6:33. Some trippy acoustic bits and Middle Eastern scales in here, too.
(((((5))))) Nice interlude. Slow, clean chords with sort of proggy-metalish solo.
(((((((((6)))))))) Quiet intro then PURE HEAVY METAL CRUSHING POWER!
(((((((7))))))) Winds o’ doom + sci-fi intro then another MONSTER RIFF! EPIC & DOOM AS FUCK! Then goes a little 70’s prog/slow burner @ the 7 min. mark and back again. HAIL!
((((((((((8)))))))))) IF YOU DON’T LIKE THIS – DON’T LIKE METAL! “Bastards will pay/the four horsemen ride/Screaming for vengeance…” \m/
(((((((9)))))) Whoa! Lovely medevael-styled neo-folkish female-male duet. Kinda like locals Hammers of Misfortune.
((((((10)))))) Super catchy, mid-paced, thundering (of course) with more influence from Omen, St. Vitus & Manilla Road. Some really cool little changes in the riffs & drumming.
