The Clientele/ Bonfires on the Heath Really beautiful, atmospheric dream pop. The music still retains a bit of the Clientele’s “fuzzy” edge but there are clear bursts of guitars, bells, organs, piano, strings, and horns that lend a brightness to the melodies that really become art in one’s imagination. Try: 1, 4, 9, 10, 12 1. ****really catchy light guitar riff, and sparkling keyboard accents, light horns, overall fun yet laid back. 2. *mellow and simple melodies with dreamy sounding vocals 3. *nice gentle high-hat taps, dreamy “ooh’s” that work well with slow soaring guitar 4. ****catchy, bit more upbeat, very pretty melodies and lyrics almost sparkles via guitar 5. pretty, clean sounding guitar opening, quiet, slower lyrics melancholic melodies soar behind vocals 6. faster, upbeat, driving drumbeat and simple guitar riff with whispered vocals- a sound-scape 7.** romantic, dreamy, slow, notes of keyboard, mellow guitar, “oohs” 8. ** more upbeat, catchy, nice horns, driving high-hat 9. ****more acoustic opening, clean vocals, horns sparkling melodies that picks up into a joyous upbeat melody, almost a latin jazz sound 10. ***dreamy, really nice relaxed melodies kept in sync with light electric guitar chords and light, fun percussion 11. more complicated guitar melody here, but repetitive and mixed with synth darker sounding vocals 12. **** light electric guitar melody twinkles in background, pretty vocals, shorter track but really pretty strings towards end | ||
