Duh, it’s SLAYER! Granddadies of extreme metal, The Big 4, Show No Mercy, Hell Awaits, etc. OK, do they still SOUND LIKE Slayer? Well, kinda, sorta. Added for the couple of almost great-to decent moments however this like much of what they’ve done since say, 1990 is rather half-assed. Weird production and song structures. Odd and at times awkward transitions (at times rubbing up too close to nu-meddle and metal-core acts that they’ve used as their openers/beer can bait).

((1)) Slow intro, gallopy thrash with modern production and attempting to recapture past glory. Way too many loose ends.
(((((2))))) (FCC “Fuckin” sung once & fast) More like it. Sounds like the Reign In Blood speed that we all know (or SHOULD know) and love. Still WTF is with that drum sound Lombardo?
(((((3)))) Wailing Hanneman/King whammy bar action like it’s ’84 all over again. Rather good vocal cadence until that clunky chorus. Song could be a bit shorter.
((4)) Slow and dull as a rusted prisoner’s shiv. Then decides to get speedy at the wrong time and back again. Really forced sounding.
(((5))) (FCC “Fucking” sung twice). Kinda decent thrash with more clunky breaks. Good soloing though.
((((6)))) Invokes their old riff to “Final Command” (See/hear "Show No Mercy" or forever live in poserville) then builds up to a nice speedy tune. Dumb lyrics but didn’t expect much with this title.
(7) Slow “rock radio friendly” Slayer. Bad riffs are fucking you insane.
(8) TOO MANY FCCS AVOID! Also ‘cause this is one of the worst Slayer songs EVER! Kack!
((((9)))) (FCC “Fucking” sung once) More retro-Slayer that once again emulates the “Reign In Blood” vibe. Speedy and hammering but still a tad iffy.
(10) Half baked AC/DC riffs!? WTF? Builds up to be a bit more heavy but ultimately boring as fuck.
