Promo-demo CD-R from local San Jose (!) Dark Ambient & Epic Black Metal mysterians. 2 epic tracks mixing the tonalities of cold, dark caves and the rage of dark, Black Metal. Dig this if you like Lurker of Chalice, Blut Aus Nord, Xasthur and Leviathan.

((((1))))) Slow, minimal intro with languid guitars then clanging, noisy, lo-fi, Very Dark, mid-paced Black Metal starting at 3:25 that blends vocals into a blur with the other instruments. Then 11:32 they go back to the ambient part. While it’s been done bunch of times before this has a certainly quality to it. Nice drum fills and some good tempo changes.

((((((2)))))) Mellow intro severly darkly reverbed guitar oddly sounding like post-punk/art rockers Durrutti Column (!?) more haunting, sullen chords resonate through a lonely, hollow cave.
