12 tracks of ghostly ethereal/ambient guitar sound by Jon DeRosa. Lots of pretty tones that drift your ears and mind off into another, better place. Inspired by and somewhat similar to Terry Riley and Eno. In other places there’s some straight up ethereal pop that might fit in a His Name Is Alive or This Mortal Coil album. Weirdly the last track’s a really good Danzig cover.
((((1))))) Pretty, high pitched-to medium pitch drone. Kind of thing that you want hear in your barely conscious state.
((((2)))) Floating “woob” and small electronic ambient waves.
((((3)))) Pop- ethereal stuff about the hollow earth theory. Nice guitar strums, pretty vocals.
(((((4))))) Cold, minimal ambience. Somewhat dark.
((((5)))) More guitar strums, with various chords looping back & forth.
(((6))) Guitar strums again, loose and glacial. Typical but OK for what it is.
((((7)))) Very soundtrack-y, big Indie-like strums & string pluckings.
(((8))) Slow to medium paced, laid back doot-doot-cascade of notes.
((((9)))) Mellow ambience with a brooding sound. Perfect for gray skied days.
((((10)))) Ebow-delay drones & swooshes that get increasingly louder.
(((11))) Moody strums, “doo-doo-dun-dunna-dunna”
and a spot of distortion.
((((12)))))) Excellent cover of the ol Danzig ballad. Love the vibrating drone and what sounds like pump organ and violin.
