Way distorted 2 man noise wreck/rock from Columbus, OH. Nothin’ pleasant or “breezy” here. Underground rock that’s been beaten with a giant ugly stick since’92. Guitarist/vocalist Don Howland previous played in the Gibson Brothers and drummer Bim Thomas went on to This Moment in Black History both quite good on their own.
Side 1
(((1))) Super messy & walls of distortion. Somewhere there’s vocals in here.
(((2))) Demented, twisted and vocals are a tad more clear with the tempo’s a wee bit of thudding rock.
(((3))) Super lo-fi strummy blues-drags on a bit too long though.
(((((4))))) Creepy crawlin’, distorted as fuck lo-fi rawk with mutilated organ.
((((5)))) Swampy, loose drumming, very cool bit of 60’s distortion and reverb.
Side 2
((((1))))) GREAT blues-rawk damage.
(((((2)))) Rather solid cover of the Iggy classic with giant wah-wails & distortion pedal bursts.
((((3)))) Raw & ripped blues damage. Fuckin’ ace distortion.
(((4))) Noise-punk beatin’ you over the head. Could be a tad shorter but otherwise fine.
((((5))))) Laid back blues guitar rock, nice change of pace.
