Czech-born, NY-based singer of Latin/Caribbean music. She has a warm, emotive voice and a nicely sophisticated style. Her she explores influences such as Cuban son & bolero, and Puerto Rican bomba. Her band is stylish and showcased to great effect. A dishy, tasty and highly enjoyable release very low-key, no-frills but with such elegance.
*1. Midtempo & swaying w/great vocals & a catchy beat.
*2. Nicely moving midtempo track w/great percussion.
3. Passionate ballad with husky vocals and gentle strings.
4. Sweet, downtempo and lyrical with a light touch from all.
5. Sweet guitars & perc into a relaxed island sway.
*6. Bright and sunny mid/uptempo. Delicious.
7. Dreamy, atmospheric ballad. Beautiful vocals.
*8. Lightly upbeat Argentinean-influenced romp.
