World jazz from Tunisian oud player Brahem joined by Klaus Gesing (bass clarinet), Bjorn Meyer (bass), and Khaled Yassine (darbouka, bendir). There is a thread of darkness running through this and the compositions are almost classical in their use of silence and spareness. The playing is superb.

1. Slow, haunting, atmospheric. A middle eastern daydream. 7:46
2. Relaxed and flowing with gentle, overlapping layers. 3:59
*3. Midtempo w/sweet oud & quiet wordless vocals. Picks up. 6:36
*4. Slow strings leads into a fluid, midtempo journey. 8:44
*5. Slow and nostalgic then passionate and fiery. 4:54
*6. Warm and relaxed flows lazily onward. 7:19
7. Slow and reflective. Some wonderful strings. 7:50
8. Quiet and slow w/a restrained sense of energy. 6:35
