Free jazz piano trio, very much "out" but in a jazzy enough vein that mainstream audiences would let you get away with a track or two. Tracks 1,2,5 are brisk free-jazz exercises full of action and bombast, played with Cecil Taylor-like piano but with a nimble, light touch. Tracks 3,4,7 are softer, more like the mood of the album cover, but go nowhere near new age territory; they've got fast aggressive bass and lots of dissonant exploration on piano.

Dana Reason - piano
Dominic Duval - bass
John Heward - drums

1- (5:43) Jumping, hopping, and jazzy. A meshed, aggressive sound, clattery drums, rapid-fire bass walking.
2- (7:48) Insistent and mid/fast, brisk. A quieter & fast middle part
3- (6:02) Drifting, slowish. Airy piano, but aggressive, digging bass
4- (8:21) Wandering, slow feel but not really slow
5- (3:34) Fast improvising, splashy piano up front.
6- (6:22) Quiet improv, rather laid back.
7- (10:12) Thick, gnarly bass. Later, crystalline piano in a slowish, thoughtful mood.
