Millipede – All my best intentions Reviewed be Enzo 2/26/10 Don Hill while exploring his musical self-conception and with the help of the new-music software he gives birth to Millipede, an IDM project that experiments and creates a beat-driven melodic dark ambient that captivates the listener. It blends with digital glitch, pounding rhythms, bass lines, and occasionally placed with electric guitars and Rhodes piano. Try 3,4,5,6,7,12,13. 1) Midtempo, beat oriented, distorted melodies and female ethnic vocals. 2) Dark, atmospheric, industrial and catchy. 3) Downtempo, dark, minimalistic and glitchy. 4) Filtered sounds of Rhodes piano, acoustic drums, distortion EFX in 2:00. 5) Downtempo, saturated kicks and distorted guitars, loud claps. 6) Chill, low-pitch ambient melodies, explodes in 2:30 with bouncing distorted beats, sweet! 7) Downtempo, melancholic, acoustic guitars. 8) Lone feel, melodic vocoder synth pads. 9) mid-tempo, ambient beat oriented. 10) Mysterious, minimal, repetitive beat. 11) Chill, high resonance of low-pitch melodies, minimal beats develops in 2:20. 12) Downtempo, intense melodies of harmonic series. 13) Upbeat, most glitchy n’ groovy, dubstep sound like. | ||
