A noted singer/songwriter/activist for the Chicano movement in the late 1960s and early 1970s. Not well known outside that circle. His music rough and raw, with an obviously untrained voice. But it’s also passionate, inspiring, and powerful. This is not music for the sake of music, but music that helped inspire a revolution. All tracks feature that Tex-Mex sound of guitars and vocals as a waltz or ranchera.
