I'm Looking Forward To Your Funeral

Album Review
Your Imaginary Friend
Reviewed 2010-02-06
Local artist, chill ambient/chamber/hypno guitar washes with piano, winds, synth. Dreamscapes and narcotic comas. Lovely stuff, for fans of Eno, Budd, Hans Otte, the usual suspects.

1) fade-in of lovely layered synths, piano appears later
2) very chill ebbing, flowing
3) somber piano, woodwind, quite epic and beautiful
4) dreamy with a guitar-like arpeggio
5) minimal guitar and piano, grows denser with string-like tones
6) ambient washes of airy drone
7) treated acoustic guitar, chill but dissonant and minor, flute counterpoint melodies
8) dreamscape that builds slowly but surely, quite hypnotic and chill
