Indie rock that has s similar sound to Yo La Tengo, Los Campesinos! and The Vines. Strong, clear vocals and a guitar–driven sound are the staples of their music. FCC on 10. Try 2,4 and 7.
1. Tidy little rock number led by electrical guitar and loud vocals.
*2. Vocals turn into bird tweets in the chorus. Raunchy, loud guitars and a badass rock feeling- very cool.
3. Slow song based on piano with a soulful guitar solo and big ending.
*4. Lyrics build and then stop, instrumentation swells and then falls away…this song rocks! A roller coaster of drums, guitar and vocals.
5. Acoustic song. Meh.
6. Very hardcore rock bridge and ending. Heavy guitars and drums. The rest of the song is pretty tame.
*7. Keyboards in the background sound like wind instruments- great syncopated beat.
8. Great guitar jam with a twinge of Americana.
9. Back to indie rock, with a strong guitar song.
10. The single: a power ballad/rock jam. FCC: “piss”
11. Odd howling noises. Very painful.
