Belle. Fucking. Sebastian. End of review. Airy acoustic rainy-day indie pop to sip Earl Grey to. Lyrics about girls and boys and bikes and books and bedrooms and unbearably cute schoolyard crushes. I... don't even know how else to describe this. Either Stuart Murdoch has a Yankee twin who ISN'T allergic to alcohol, or these guys are the greatest not-a-cover-band ever.

*1. upbeat, cute as fuck light fanfarey acoustic pop. nice, nice, nice.
2. FCC (fucking) upfront rugged bass. laid back, mellow. hella vibraphone. polite electric solo.
*3. fast, heavier. rompy piano. pretty damn near joyous. harmonica!
*4. bouncy happy bellsy twinkly. handclaps. brass solo. what hey.
5. okay, slight departure. random rockabilly electric and heavy bubblegum girl vocals. oh, that must be the umbrella girls. fun, upbeat, dancey in a jukebox way.
