Triclops have carried the torch from rush into the 20th century, making awexxome no holds barred rock and roll. Totally slays, this stuff is great, one of the best local bands, for sure.. Elements of prog, punk, grunge, hardcore, math rock, post rock all appear, but the sum of it is so much more. Lots of energy, guitars, and passion. They've gotten even better since their last album. RIYL: Husker Du, Sonic Youth, McLusky, Kinski, Fucked Up, Rush, Nirvana, Mudhoney, Hold Steady, Dio. Fcc track 5- brick
- jangly guitar rock, turns heavy and super proggy wailing vox, guyy singing about speciation, cires of neanderthal. upbeat, some catchy riffage, explosive hardcore parts are awexxome.
- hard tom pulse, freak pop structure, falsetto male vox, gives way to mega guitarsplosion, if man man rocked out. total headbangers delight, the end is.
- fcc ( but awexxome wipers/fugazi styled track for safe harbor djs)
-slower, more monoltihic barbarian plod building in intensity
- total blazer. acapella intro into hardcore guitar and bass prog attack with epic lyrical homage to the moorish lands and monte cristo, group vox,
- balls to the wall whiskey rock, "with sars i'll ride the wind" go ahead. ride the tiger. Ends on a total freebird tribute! The fucking freebird riff! Yeah!
