Hindusthani music ( North Indian Classical), by sixth generation sarangi player Ustad Murad Ali Khan. The sarangi part of the chordophone family of short necked fretless lutes closely resembles the soprano human voice and is very difficult to master. With tabla percussion. All tracks are very good
1: 33:25 slow, full of romance & love the alap (beginning) is assigned to the hours before Midnight. This is slow but shows great emotion in the sound. picks up a bit at end.
2: 9:11 mid to a bit faster
3: 3:56 slow to mid tempo. nice short intro to the sarangi.
