Overall, folk music. Primarily male vocals - mostly acoustic guitar. Think of an updated, acoustic sounding England Dan from the 1970s. Lyrics are plainspoken, meaning - he's not singing in metaphors. Soothing to the ears with nice harmonies. This is the type of music I want to listen to on a Sunday morning or when I listen to Garrison Keillor/Lake Wobegon. Key tracks - 1, 2, 3, 6.

1. Very, Very Nice Song - soft, male vocals with harmony. 2. Slightly upbeat, popping percussion back beat (there is also a "shaking beans in a can sound"). 3. nice ballad with electronic and acoustic guitars. 4. folksy and country sound for the verses / tempo and volume pick up for chorus. 5. Strong 1970s sound. 6. Instrumental - nice sound for background. 7. Vocals begin immediately / song is soft, but theme is rather dark / periodic moments of deliberate dissonance between vocals and music. 8. ballad with guitar and piano - sounds like elevator/lounge music. 9. acapella vocals begin immediately - overall vocals lead and overpower the music. Kind of fast-paced 10. Soft and very quiet sound. 11. Adequate version of the song, but don't expect Barbara Streisand.
