Guitarist and Vocalist of Sigur Ros presents dreamy soundscapes that are LUSH, orchestral, and ambient. His voice is as soft, clear, and beautiful as ever. This is very pretty, upbeat music that can be described as “portrait” tunes. Great experiemental use of percussive and instrumental sound combinations with these tunes. What is so interesting about these songs is how dense and rich they are instrumentally and how they balance perfectly with Jonsi’s delicate voice. All great.

Cool segmented, vocal beginning, sparkling tones, flutes, stomping driving beat 2. pretty harpsichord disjointed intro, becomes pop based upbeat flurry of sounds that work to a lovely effect 3. slower, piano chords, quieter, more contemplative 4. dreamy, sparkly sounds, upbeat picks up, very upbeat, driven, great great assortment of lush sounds 5. light, piano, mixture of vocal notes 6. slower, lower tones, contemplative and deeper sounds but becomes full and beautiful, rich sounds 7. clear vocals, piano, bells, synth, driven beat, catchy 8. longer, slower, carried vocal notes, gradual addition of backing sounds, slowly slowly becomes lush and epic 9. deep brooding string and wind tones, slower, deeper toned vocals, gorgeous!
