3rd studio album from Portland-based string-backed folk songwriter. Whisper-voiced Justin Ringle leads this often-lush group. Instrumentation is usually guitar and strings, plus occasional banjo, piano, mandolin, musical saw and accordion. Really gorgeous stuff on here. Recommended.

My picks: 4, 1, 3, 5, 6, 7, 9

1. Slow, pretty strings + piano piece.
2. med-slow. slowly developing song.
3. mid tempo. strummed guitar + banjo + string. nice tune.
4. med-slow. fantastic song with eerie musical saw, but the guitar work is really what makes it.
5. mid tempo. guitar+violin+banjo. lovely lilting quality to the song.
6. med-slow. slowly builds. nice mandolin work and, later in the song, string work
7. med-fast. bluesy, with plenty of tension that builds throughout. Another winner.
8. med-slow. Strong guitar lead with strings and piano later.
9. med-fast. nice melody line.
10. med-slow. quiet beginning, builds a little but stays pretty subdued.
