Good noisy electronic shit that’s all Casio, bass, drum machine samples & vocals. All of it is super catchy, beautiful & feels anthemic in places. Was self-released on cassette last year and then snatched up & rereleased by Jagjaguwar. No FCCS. Try 1, 2, 7 – but the whole ep is good. (1) * Casio glitter new order tune that’s catchy as fuck (2) * Lovely little tune over heavy, heavy bass (3) Nice beat, warbly tape effects (4) Etheric keyboard effects over ditty drum machine beat (5) Percussive layers are cool – has an almost funky rhythm – reminiscent of animal collective (6) Straight shot indie rock, acoustic guitar w/ soft electronic backdrop – different vocal effect, he sounds like conor oberst (7) *Heavy reverb on guitar, channeling some my bloody that drops out ~2:30 to looped harmonica, tambourine. | ||
