Vintage new-wave/electro/hip-hop sound, complete with 80s brit m vox, prominent synth keys and 808 beats, occasional hand-claps. clearly derivative, somewhat kitschy, but very well-done. good for: pretending you're 80s john cusack.

Loved and highly recommend both sides.
fcc: none detected (side b vox are super distorted in places so no guarantees but couldn't make out any)

side a/ birds of prey
slow-mid, ~2:45
opening synth line reminds me of the knife's "heartbeats": i like, your mileage may vary. m vox delivery is rhythmic, hip-hop influenced. melodic, funky synths. basic 808 beats = ghetto blaster and cardboard. very cool, very derivative, i don't care.

side b/paradise
mid-fast, ~ 3:00
faster paced, danceable. vox = very Clash, fast and rhythmic, distorted/echoed in places. emphasizes drum machine and elec bass more than synths, more improvisation with the beat than side A. other cool sounds come in now and then.
