Sam Quinn: The Fake That Sunk A Thousand Ships: Acoustic rock with a hint of country twang; quavery vocals, kind of like Stevie Nicks. Melodies are nice, though not unpredictable, and get old by the end of the album. Lots of ballad-type tracks here. FCC clean.. Try 1, 9, 7
1) Regret, deep regret. This track’s instrumentals may not sound it, but the vocals definitely do.
2) Deliberate & slow drums, melancholic vocals.
3) More weeping guitars and purposeful drums.
4) Background female vocals, slightly off-key lead vocals? At least it sounds off-putting.
5) Plodding vocals, strummed guitar chords.
6) Same ol’, same ol’
7) Some honky tonk piano! Albeit pretty low-tempo.
8) Some violin, a nice change from the rest of the cloned tracks.
9) Tambourine, more upbeat than the rest of the album!
10) Just guitar and crooning, as acoustic as it gets.
