Lovely female singer songwriter fare, with lush instrumentation, piano, guitars, and dreamy production. Elements of Nick Drake, Fairport Convention, classic songwriting and songsmithing. A melding of folk, twang, and dark songwriting. Lovely and perfect, not to be missed. Fans of Mazzy Star, Paula Frazer/Tarnation. Up there with Eleni Mandell in the raw talent dept. Reading the liner notes just now realizing lots of local SF connections (e.g. Sean Coleman/Sunshine Club, Closer Studios, et al).

1) lilting waltzy dreamy pop, pretty
2) piano/guitar, lovely
3) more upbeat, almost ballady
4) full band feel with a twang flare, a classic Fairport Convention type feel comes to mind
5) lovely with pedal steel and finger picked guitar, dreamy and perfect
6) upbeat, folky
7) guitar picking, folky twang and drums appear lending an upbeat basic feel
8) darker feel betrayed by upbeat picking, dobro, wow!
9) big soaring ¾ waltz, epic with perfect vocals, a twang
10) big full band, twangy and epic
11) guitar playing with lush vocals
