Drum/guitar duo from San Jose playing a mix of post-rock, prog, jazz fusion and (proper) indie styles. Not far from Domakesaythink and in some places Mogwai and King Crimson. ((((((1)))))) Intricate picking & chords overlapping with each other, gets more proggy & jazzy around 00:58 & throws in some neat accents. ((((2)))) Very lively sound - jumps around a bit. Quiet build up then excellent drumming & circular chords/patterns. (((3)))) Backwards loop, then slow, layered guitars, spoken poetic lyrics. (((((4)))) Circular tempos, steady drumming. (((((5)))))) Jazzy, sort of improvish with bits of that "typical" but interesting post-rock shimmer & tonality. | ||
