Me Mercy Me (The Plintholgy)
Funkygood goofball upbeat remix wizardry of old school soul. All remixed from oringal soul songs, no beats basslines and keys added. Wizardry by local genius experimental artists. Play all the artists on this cd separately as well, and you'll have crafted the greatest rado show in history. if you're reading this review, play the Moutsache by Qulfus. Oh right, so this cd is fantastic. Everyone loves soul music, everyone loves weird music.
- upbeat sprawly breaks soul, oop oop a doop
- smiling faces get a murky sludy bassline makeover
- acoustic deep white people like it soul, with weird vocal manipulations, gorgeous.
- big iced fuzzed out blisswash, that um.. has soul!? (no)
- warper l/r channel manipulation & pile of churning wierdness
- scratched out blurred soul diva & big beat
- gorgeous stripped down and pretty vocal looping remix of babylove. first recognizable song on album & its a masterpiece.
- deep dubby marvin gaye grapevine remix. flip out over this.
- gorgeous deep soul "i still hate you" starts with isolated vox. can win over any r. kelly fan.
- buzzing fast forward/rewind soul horn breaks wierdness, cut up into new goofed out patterns
- slow tiwtchy, warbly treblebent hellsoul
- big gorgeous wash, must be mercy mercy me at 1/128th speed, cause it sounds like planetarium music
- superdeep, numerically inaccurate slomo ehcoing version of three times a lady
