Sleigh Bells/ Treats
This is a girl/boy duo from the Bronx; totally kick ass dance music with crazy combinations of sugar sweet vocals and electronic mayhem. Female lead singer was quoted in Spin saying she found it hard to match lyrics and vocals to the sounds of a sledgehammer while writing the album. Love that!!! I’ve had this since it’s release in May and it’s da bomb. Sounds like: M.I.A.’s beats with vocals like The Bird & the Bee. FCC free. Try: 4, 5, 7, 8, 10.

1. Chaos album kick off. 2. Great lyrics, rough edge. 3. More of a rock track, lots of attitude. **4. Another rock-ish track, unique and awesome. *5.Slower love song with an edge. 6. Starts with a breathy intro, slow vocals with a synthesizer melody. ***7. Radio friendly, less electro clash, more pop. ****8. One of the best on album, raw, catchy. 9. A shredder; edgy and angry. *****10. Best on album in my humble opinion; repetitive in all the right ways. 11. Track where the vocal pairing with sledgehammer quote makes sense; a good album closer.
