Trippy pop/rock that at first glance sounds retro 60’s-70’s but on even slightest inspection reveals certain strangeness. Is this sample art? Layering of every 60’s pop psychedelic cliché via protools, assembling the ultimate take on Paul Revere and the Raiders appearing on The Banana Splits, or the Jackson Five on American Bandstand? Male vocals, psychey instrumentation but also some new wavey-ness. Strange stuff that’s been faves of WMFU and other weirdoes for years. Play 2, 11, 1, 7

1) smarmy funky 60’s tv sound track music with insolent singing
2) 60’s upbeat pop, Austin Powers dancing about
3) a little more chill, singing about love, with some minor chords tossed about
4) a new wavey feel with simple synth drums, upbeat pop
5) smarmy cheesy as hell, dangerous on acid
6) funky soul pop
7) dark “rockin” with electric guit, and strangeness
8) upbeat psyche pop returns
9) really cheesy pop straight off AM Radio circa 1976 that’s gotta be tongue in cheek
10) instrumental, smarmy synths, hot tub sushi coke party fern bar music
11) slower darker, introspective with big epic chorus and mathy riffs, great lyrics “menopause man” “castrate me, make me gay”
12) upbeat driving bass driven with subliminal sounds
